Laura P. Vietmeyer
You’ll never hear me say, “That’s not my job.” This attitude was ingrained in me during my time in graduate school and has served me well ever since. In my current role as senior marketing copywriter at Everspring, I am part of a high-performing team that is the voice for our university partner online programs. I am responsible for developing marketing and editorial content that supports new and existing brand efforts, including blog posts, direct mailers, email campaigns, microsites and landing pages, admissions documents, social media content, posters and print and digital advertising campaigns on behalf of Everspring and our university partners.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the good fortune to write and promote content for a number of industries. Before joining Everspring, I was the communication and content manager for INAP, a leading-edge provider of hybrid infrastructure solutions, where I was part of a small but scrappy marketing team and wore a number of marketing hats. For several years, I worked as a writer for Veil Magazine, a wedding publication that targets southeastern Wisconsin. As a digital content specialist for Lessiter Media, I helped manage content for the equine hoof-care and agricultural industries. Prior to that, I worked as a marketing coordinator for a law firm, as a writer and researcher at a healthcare insights company, and also held freelance roles in the retail industry as a copywriter and proofreader.
When I’m not developing marketing strategies or crafting compelling copy, you’ll find me volunteering at PAWS Chicago, where I train new volunteers and help connect adoptable dogs with their forever homes—a perfect outlet for my love of building connections and solving problems.
